Presidents like Eisenhower, Ford and Reagan would not be welcome in today’s Republican Party. It has been overrun by ultra right wing zealots who espouse greed, intolerance and anti-democratic practices.
The world watches as the nation tumbles downward into an abyss — where it’s: rich vs. poor, black vs. white, truth vs. lies, young vs. old and education vs. indoctrination.
Unfortunately greed, intolerance and anti-democratic practices are very popular. Hard work, tolerance and generosity not so much. The republicans are the party of "I got mine, and the devil can take the hindmost" and that is a miserable way to live.
Are all republicans nuts, or are only nuts republicans?
