And so many of us knew trump was going to be a failure from the day he announced he was running. And then, we had to sit by and watch him frighteningly exceed all of our worst fears. The Republicans are still in denial about the damage their party did worldwide to America, and our democracy. Republicans will tell you not to support the Democrats because you will lose freedoms. But it was a Republican President backed by GOP members in congress, that almost destroyed democracy. We will be dealing with an ongoing war between unhinged radical RELIGIOUS extremists, and government forces. This is a test of our form of governance that we must not fail.
“The dark cloud of uncertainty”. That should be the Republican Party’s new motto.

I am tired of the GOP, they have had their chance - and blew-it.
I have served on corporate boards, ran companies, & hired applicants for high profile positions. I strictly rate people, entities, business on performance. As a president, Trump royally screwed up by inciting his followers to not wear masks during the early stages of quarantine. The New England Journal of Medicine on Wednesday published an editorial written by its editors condemning the Trump administration for its response to the Covid-19 pandemic -- and calling for the current leadership in the United States to be voted out of office. That has never happened in my lifetime. I don’t know what president Trump paid in taxes. But under his watch I have had to pay the most in Federal taxes in my life after he passed the SALT act. Also, the SALT act enabled millionaires to get huge tax breaks while the middle classes and poor made up the difference. At this point, the Trump, Pence economy favors the rich!

The bankrupt economic policies of the Republican Party
Wednesday, April 29, 2020
President Trump is a sociopath, and incapable of empathy.
I think it's painfully obvious that Trump's primary concern is the economy rather than lives of our people. He's a sociopath and incapable of empathy or sympathy for others, and lacks intelligent judgment and reasoning. He got put into office because the "electoral college" put him there. Why don't we all go and vote in those states where one vote counts 2 to 3 times more than a vote in states like New York or California? America, we are being robbed of our right to decide who will be the leader of our country. Isn't it maddening to think that we have to produce 3,000,000 more votes than the Republican party gets for their candidate for POTUS to win the White House?

Do American conservatives have a VICTIM CARD?
Often I’ve heard conservatives express frustration in regards to social changes in society. These frustrations are often vocalized in statements focusing on a specific more liberal group or movement. The ones who act like a persecuted minority even though they are white Christian Republican males in a country where white, Christian Republican males dominate all three branches of government? Those conservatives have a victimhood complex the size of a major international airport. Do you remember that old joke about conservatives being liberals who'd been mugged by reality? Well, it was funny largely because it was true. Conservatives fancy themselves as hard-nosed realists. Unlike fluffy-headed liberals, who spend their days dreaming of a perfect world, conservatives are suspicious of utopian schemes. They know quite well that life is hard, and they disdain few things more than whiners and complainers. But who really cares about fairness and consistent thinking when politics are in play? Like the minority activist groups that conservatives abhor, the Republicans know very well that crying out against a foe is one sure way to rally the troops. And it works particularly well when your side is in political or ideological disarray. If you can't inspire your base with a coherent vision of the future, then you might as well unify it with the promise to stand up against the boogeyman.
In the end, conservatives are right, we have become a nation of victims, but surely it's getting more difficult for them to blame it all on the liberals.
Why do liberals think Trump supporters are stupid? - EXPLAINED
Some guy on the internet, who doesn't want credit, wrote this......
I didn't feel this way in 2016, I have the benefit of the doubt, and allowed for differences in opinions, frustration, the misinformed/misguided. But NOW?? Nope.
Trump supporter: "
Why do liberals think Trump supporters are stupid”?
The answer:
This is what we really think about Trump supporters, the rich, the poor, the malignant and the innocently well-meaning, the ones who think and the ones who don't.
This is what we really think about Trump supporters, the rich, the poor, the malignant and the innocently well-meaning, the ones who think and the ones who don't.
That when you saw a man who had owned a fraudulent University, intent on scamming poor people, you thought "Fine."
That when you saw a man who had made it his business practice to stiff his creditors, you said, "Okay."
That when you heard him proudly brag about his own history of sexual abuse, you said, "No problem."
That when he made up stories about seeing muslim-Americans in the thousands cheering the destruction of the World Trade Center, you said, "Not an issue."
That when you saw him brag that he could shoot a man on Fifth Avenue and you wouldn't care, you chirped, "He sure knows me."
That when you heard him illustrate his own character by telling that cute story about the elderly guest bleeding on the floor at his country club, the story about how he turned his back and how it was all an imposition on him, you said, "That's cool!"
That when you saw him mock the disabled, you thought it was the funniest thing you ever saw.
That when you heard him brag that he doesn't read books, you said, "Well, who has time?"
That when the Central Park Five were compensated as innocent men convicted of a crime they didn't commit, and he angrily said that they should still be in prison, you said, "That makes sense."
That when you heard him tell his supporters to beat up protesters and that he would hire attorneys, you thought, "Yes!"
That when you heard him tell one rally to confiscate a man's coat before throwing him out into the freezing cold, you said, "What a great guy!"
That you have watched the parade of neo-Nazis and white supremacists with whom he curries favor, while refusing to condemn outright Nazis, and you have said, "Thumbs up!"
That you hear him unable to talk to foreign dignitaries without insulting their countries and demanding that they praise his electoral win, you said, "That's the way I want my President to be."
That you have watched him remove expertise from all layers of government in favor of people who make money off of eliminating protections in the industries they're supposed to be regulating and you have said, "What a genius!"
That you have heard him continue to profit from his businesses, in part by leveraging his position as President, to the point of overcharging the Secret Service for space in the properties he owns, and you have said, "That's smart!"
That you have heard him say that it was difficult to help Puerto Rico because it was the middle of water and you have said, "That makes sense."
That you have seen him start fights with every country from Canada to New Zealand while praising Russia and quote, "falling in love" with the dictator of North Korea, and you have said, "That's statesmanship!"
That you have witnessed all the thousand and one other manifestations of corruption and low moral character and outright animalistic rudeness and contempt for you, the working American voter, and you still show up grinning and wearing your MAGA hats and threatening to beat up anybody who says otherwise.
What you don't get, Trump supporters in 2019, is that succumbing to frustration and thinking of you as stupid may be wrong and unhelpful, but it's charitable.
What you don't get, Trump supporters in 2019, is that succumbing to frustration and thinking of you as stupid may be wrong and unhelpful, but it's charitable.
If you're NOT stupid, we must turn to other explanations, and most of them are less flattering.

The Republican Party supports big pharma!
The Republican Party supports big pharma - that supports shareholders - over - affordable healthcare. The Democrats have tried to level the playing field, but were stymied by the GOP on every level. The pendulum has swung too far to the ((right)), & something needs to be done before your retirement savings disappears! God help us if the average American has to run their own illegal drug empire to pay medical bills. Please vote this 2020, and make a difference.

It’s a sad day in America
It’s a sad day in America when a Republican President has been accused of crimes and Republican law makers refuse to even investigate to get to the bottom of it. The Mueller report is not final report it’s a punt at best.
Trump has now been an unnamed party in a felony inditement for campaign finance violations (not the same one as Obama, that was inadvertent, trumps was a willful conspiracy to commit a real felony not a fine).
10 well documented incidents of possible obstruction of justice. Regardless of Barr’s opinion on this only Congress has the authority to punish a sitting President. If you think Trump was cleared then why did Mueller mention Trump could possibly be prosecuted after leaving office?
The only reason Trump was cleared on collusion “conspiracy” was because he didn’t sign a written document with the Russians. Everything else is apparently ok in republicans eyes. So you can go tell a hit man to kill your wife now as long as you don’t put it on paper according to the justice department your good to go! Good news.
Trump has used his position corruptly over and over from benefits he has given himself monetarily, tax cuts to him self and businesses, secret service paying his properties to protect him there, making deals with International partners to benefit his own companies. Anyone who has refused to lie for him is fired, attacked publicly and retaliated against.
All this and Trump is applauded and cheered and called a great President. Congratulations
It's clear Trump is a Crook.
Why is Trump so keen to prevent the full disclosure of a report that he claimed offers him "complete and total exoneration," an assertion not supported by the facts. Attorney General Barr has ... gone from being a personal attorney to the President instead of the attorney general of the United States and he's now gone a step further and made the entire Justice Department an agency for enabling the President to defy the law, to defy any type of accountability and to act as a monarch, to say that Congress can have no role in accountability is a joke! It's clear Trump is a Crook. An Innocent man wouldn't care if Congress has seen the Mueller Report. As I recall we had a bit of a problem with that type of behavior in the past.
Solved it in 1783 as I remember!

Trump is an irresponsible reckless leader
Trump is an irresponsible reckless leader surrounded by irresponsible ignoramuses. From time to time, he even gets the full attention of the 1%, worried for tanking investments. Re-elect this guy at your peril. For those of you anxious to vote for Trump because he is so great with the economy, consider that every time he opens his mouth, like today with his tariff threats against China, the market dumps 400 points.

Windmill Cancer!
You'd think the GOP would be all for universal healthcare with all the windmill cancer they suffer from.

Stand up for yourselves AMERICA, power to the people!
William Barr is supposed to be the Attorney General for the American people instead of Trump’s sycophantic lapdog. What a disgrace to the rule of law in this country. Bringing up Loretta Lynch and the Clinton administration when it was Trump who obstructed justice as the current President of the United States is just simply ridiculous. It’s especially laughable when Trump tries to take credit for Barack Obama’s economy but then tries to blame everything on the Clintons. You can’t have it both ways and the American people can see right through this BS. Stand up for yourselves AMERICA, power to the people!

Thank you President Trump!
Thank you President Trump for raising taxes on middle classes so that someone making over $300,000+ can get a huge tax break, I'm sure they were struggling so much that they needed it. Also, Thank you Donald Trump for guaranteeing extra profitability for the Oil companies that are making huge profits with high gas prices, artificially inflated by themselves with the help of our GOP - politicians who do nothing because they are making a killing. We the middle classes really appreciate all the hard work you are doing to tank the economy ounce again so that the Democrats will have to make things better for every one. That is until another Republican takes office while taking all the credit for improving the economy in under 2 years, thus the cycle starts all over again. THANK YOU GOP!

The right always wants to make this about capitalism vs socialism!
The right always wants to make this about capitalism vs socialism, but I heard someone say that it is really about capitalism vs democracy, and that made sense to me. We have huge social programs like Social Security and Medicare that take money from all of us and distributes it to others, Medicare being more of a socialist concept. But what has happened in America is that the elite and big business with their lobbyists now control much of what happens in politics regardless of what most Americans want. For example, 80-90% of us want background checks on gun purchases, but the NRA has bought off or bribed the politicians to vote against our will. So do we have democracy when our political officials vote against our will? I say no.
Vote them out is the usual retort, but they have gerrymandered the districts to the point that it is difficult to do. Is that democracy?
I don't think anyone really wants us to be a socialist country, but I do think it's possible to provide better medical care to everyone and to lessen the inequality that exists, but I'm afraid our elected officials will fight doing it because they are more responsive to their lobbyists and business donations and power than us.
I see the capitalist vs democracy more than vs socialism.

To believe that Trump was unaware of their activities is not naïve but delusional.

But here's the thing: Trump's disconnect with the truth is so profound, he tells lies on a daily basis to cover up his crimes, mistakes in judgement, and his continued business dealings, including using the office of POTUS to increase revenue at his DC hotel, and Mar a Lago. To believe that Trump was unaware of their activities is not naïve but delusional. Once the Orangutan is out of office he will be charged and convicted, along with his children, for all the corruption and crimes they have committed against our beloved country. America will rejoice that day! USA! USA!
